About This Site

Why "Rooting Lotus?"

The lotus ascends out of watery darkness, knowing that growth is eminent. Having deep roots, allows the plant to climb even higher. Rooting Lotus is a reminder of this needed balance, to stretch oneself in both directions. When firmly rooted down, one has the stability to rise to their fullest potential. My hope with this site, is that it grows into a powerful network of peace-loving individuals who are in the pursuit of God-consciousness. I hope we discover together the magic and lessons within each moment, and constantly become more graceful while walking through them. I’d like this to be a safe community where individuals can share their thoughts and experiences with others. The best tip I’ve received on this journey: Be kind to yourself. Leave behind fear and judgment, and rather, focus on love, service and gratitude.

About Me

My desire for a greater understanding within spirituality, self-discovery, and God-realization has been ignited since an early age, and has grown even stronger with the passing of time. I enjoy a happy career within the natural food industry and while that “pays the bills” I have a deep longing for creating. My creations are less tangible, however. I want to create feelings, understandings, relief and sacred spaces. While this site evolves, I hope to add items created by friends, business partners and myself that aid in bringing these feelings to you. For now, I share my small writings on topics many of us face. I hope to bring to these situations humor, humility and gratitude. Thank you for visiting this site, please share in the growth of it by voicing comments and suggestions. I can be reached at rootinglotus@gmail.com or you can fill out the form on the Contact section.
